Hi guys, i was reading this articles on the net and i thought that many here would like to read it too

http://www.epn-online.com/page/33265/embedded-world-dual-core-processors-for-all-dual-core-com-express-module.html

it is about the new Inter ARM dual core "baby" that runs at 1.66 Ghz and 2.0Ghz .

that would be a great core for a new RISC OS Game machine or a RISC OS Workstation...

I think you've misread the article a bit, The 1.66GHz and 2GHz is talking about Intel's Core Duo processors (Which are x86). But the article also talks about the DCIC 9907 AE, which is made by some company called DualCore, which has two 128MHz ARM cores.

Also, a lot of work would be need to be done in order for RISC OS to be able use dual core systems (Beyond special-case applications)

Ops sorry you are right, I made a bit of confusion between all the documents i was reading and i reported the wrong clock speed... yes the clock is 128Mhz in the article i linked on here (about arm dual core technology).

This is the article about the dual core arm that runs at 1.2 Ghz:

http://download.intel.com/design/iio/docs/31505301.pdf
(This PDF is a bit technical)

This is some more interesting links about dual core arm based processors:

and this is an high Clock multi-core arm:
